Tom McClean and Moby
I had the honour of meeting adventurer Tom McClean and learning about his incredible life earlier this year. Tom is an SAS veteran who holds the world record as the first man to row across the Atlantic Ocean from west to east solo which he did in 1969. In 1982 he sailed across the Atlantic in the smallest boat to do it, only 7ft 9 inches long!
We visited his home and his 65ft whale shaped boat "Moby, Prince of Whales" on the west coast of Scotland.
