I’m Will Harvey, a documentary and editorial photographer based in Oban on Scotland’s west coast. For over 15 years, I’ve worked across both film and digital formats—drawn to the honesty, texture, and emotional weight that each medium offers. My work is shaped by the stories we tell, the places we live, and the moments we often overlook.

Living in Oban, I’m constantly inspired by the shifting coastal light and rugged landscapes. That quiet drama finds its way into my images, infusing them with mood and meaning. I take influence from photographers like Todd Hido, William Eggleston and Greg Girard—artists who understand that restraint and empathy are powerful tools.

As a husband and father , I’ve come to value small truths and subtle gestures in my work. Photography, for me, is about connection—finding something timeless in the everyday, and turning it into something worth remembering.
